Aravaipa Wilderness, AZ
May, 2003
In May of 2003 I met up with Joe and Kim Abraham in Tucson to hike into Aravaipa Wilderness with a few of their friends from Flagstaff. We hiked in on a Friday, camped Friday and Saturday night, and hiked out Sunday just in time for Kim and I to make it to a wedding in Tucson. Aravaipa Canyon is a unique ecosystem because it is one of the few perennial streams in southern Arizona, and thus it is a protected wilderness.
